MAC Brooklyn’s STRETCH yoga and Pilates programs develop flexibility, grace, and balance, helping to address tension, aches, pains, and other physical misalignments. With time and practice, your body returns to its natural alignment, your core becomes engaged, muscle strains dissolve, and excess weight drops away. Clean yoga mats and drinking water, as well as the classes themselves, are all included in your membership fee.

Stretch Classes at Manhattan Athletic Club, Downtown Brooklyn


In this class you will synchronize breath with movement. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.

You’ll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement and work to build strength and endurance as you push the edge of your balance and flexibility. You will sharpen your concentration aided by breathing techniques and sail into blissful final relaxation.

This class is vigorous, yet accessible. Focus is on fluid transitions from pose to pose, seamlessly linking body, breath, and movement. You will find the balance between effort, awareness, and breath.
